The Therapies

There is no reason for you to put up with something INSIDE yourself but OUTSIDE your control.  If you are prepared to devote time effort and self determination there is an excellent chance that you can free yourself of such problems through the caring and sympathetic application of Hypnotherapy.

Whilst experiencing the wonderfully relaxed feeling called hypnosis, your critical conscious is put to one side allowing access to the subconscious.

This then enables the appropriate therapy to be performed. Not all Hypnotherapy is the same. I practice two forms of therapy within the hypnotic state: 

Analytical Therapy - For irrational Fears and Phobias Used for the more deep rooted psychological problems. Based on the doctrine of cause and effect, this approach is exceptionally effective at resolving phobias and other emotional problems.

We all have repressed memories of events, usually from childhood, stored within our subconscious. These events were, at the time, too traumatic for the mind to handle. The mind's answer to this was to repress the memory and the accompanying emotion. Most of the time we are blissfully unaware of this, but, when given a trigger, usually completely unrecognisable, these repressions can give rise to anxiety symptoms- irrational Fears and Phobias.

Through free association within hypnosis, the recall of such an event, and most importantly the accompanying emotion, brings about a moment of surprising and liberating self enlightenment resulting in an extinguishing of the cause and with it the elimination of the effect.

Analytical Therapy is where we get to the real you and is recommended for almost all psychological problems, irrational behaviour, fears and phobias etc.. Analytical Therapy is normally applied over 6 to 12 weekly sessions, each lasting approx. 90 minutes although the first session is approx. 2 hours.

Post Hypnotic Suggestion - This is most people's idea of what Hypnotherapy is and, in it's own way is extremely powerful.  Positive, carefully worded suggestions are used to bring about a desired behavioural change. The suggestions are not only positively worded but are also couched in the positive, which is the only language understood by the subconscious mind. At all times, great care is taken to avoid any possibility of symptom substitution

Conditions which may be helped by SUGGESTION Therapy include Weight Control, Stress Management Nail Biting, Self Confidence and Esteem, Fear of Flying, Enhanced Sports and Personal Achievement, General Relaxation etc. etc.

Post Hypnotic Suggestion Therapy is  normally applied over a period of between 1 and 4 weekly sessions each lasting approx. 75 minutes.
